"Not Quite Full Circle:" I have photographed sunsets from this location before and was watching as I began to notice this half-circle forming in the illumination of the clouds and the reflection in the water. I began to wish that somehow the circle would appear complete by filling in the gaps in the other half of the sky, but the clouds and light had other plans, and this half-circle was the closest it became. I truly believe that even though there are times in life when we feel we need to start over, we are never really "full circle" back to square one. We are always somehow a bit changed or other circumstances beyond our control have changed. No moment in time is ever precisely replicated . . . much as no two sunsets are exactly alike.
