On my first morning in the Lofoten Islands in Norway I woke up early to drive and take photos of the sunrise. It had snowed heavily overnight and the car couldn't make it up the driveway. I decided to make the best of the early morning by taking photos outside of my cabin. After a few failed attempts I saw the light coming through the walkway between these buildings and had to capture it. I was freezing cold when I finished but extremely happy. Getting to go back into my warm cabin afterward made for a perfect morning. Shot with a Canon EOS 6D using a 50 mm prime lens at ISO 1000, f14, shutter speed 1/8.
