This majestic creature was photographed on a journey through the fog-shrouded wonderland of Yosemite National Park this winter. I was only in the park for one day and had hoped that we would have beautiful weather. To my disappointment, the weather went from the sunny blue skies of Los Angeles to the mysteriously dark and grey skies of northern California.

What I had initially classified as crummy weather provided the perfect backdrop to create some beautiful and brooding winter images. In my opinion, this time of the year is a wonderful time to plan a trip to the park if you don't mind a little rain and snow.
