I was shooting a nightscape at the Morton Overlook and was ready to pack my gear up and move on. As I went back to the car I looked up saw how prominent this one tree looked in the night sky. I began to observe it and think about how I was going to frame it in when a car drove past and I noticed it illuminated sections of the tree. I liked that, so I waited on more cars to go on by and I shot it this scene until I was happy with what I got.
