It was night, and I was experimenting with my friend's Fujifilm S9150 and a flashlight. Spring was in full swing and the tree on my lawn was blooming against the backdrop of the night sky. I decided to use a small aperture of f/10 to get a longer shutter speed and a wider depth of field, and used a high ISO to sacrifice detail for light sensitivity (since the camera could not use shutter speeds longer than 8 seconds). I was satisfied with the results, the lack of detail giving it the appearance of a painting.
