When I heard how beautiful Niagara Falls looked with all the ice this past winter, I had to make a trip. It was a clear, crisp night and I layered up against the cold and spray from the falls. After photographing for a while, I finally turned around and was treated to a view just as lovely. The city all light up lent itself perfectly to a black and white image and the Skylon Tower added depth and visual interest. I achieved the star patterns with an f-stop of 22 and a shutter speed of 13 seconds created a blurred line of headlights across the lower edge of the frame.
