Taken by Dan Bateman with a Nikon D7000 and a 70-300mm lens. ISO 100, 22omm, f/29 (to get slower shutter speed), 1/4 sec exposure. The Mud Hens, or American Coots were in a narrow channel of water. As I would move to one end of the group they would go the other way. I then moved to the head of the group and they moved back the other way. Not enough to spook them, simply gently herding Coots! I walked with them while clicking the shutter. It made for a nice dreamy flow, I think.
