Close up of Mt. Tom and the Owens River near Bishop, CA. The light on this morning had been all shades of spectacular pink, but the colors had started to soften and light was just touching the tips of the Eastern Sierra when I took this. I zoomed in on mountains and did a 4 second exposure to isolate the color around the mountains and bring out the reflections on the river. I used a Canon 5D MkIII, 24-105mm lens at 55mm, 100 ISO, a tripod and polarizer.
