The Spanish fishing boats were photographed one morning as they were leaving the port of Palamós, Spain. This fishing fleet is said to be one of the last such fleets on the southwestern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The photograph was taken with a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200 mm VR lens at 46 mm. The exposure was f/8 and 1/8000 sec. (The ISO was accidentally set at 3200.) The original photo was taken by Leigh D. Segel and was subsequently modified (to emphasize the morning light and achieve an overall impressionistic effect) by Irwin H. Segel using an old version of Snap Art by Alien Skin.
