Nikon 800E, RRS Tripod. I set up one September morning, in the pitch dark and 14 degrees. As the sun began to rise, clouds came drifting in from the north. It was a make it or break it moment, as the clouds obscured the Teton Peak. At the last minute, the peak emerged from behind the clouds, and voila! My wife, an artist who usually accompanies me on my adventures, elected to stay behind in the cozy hotel.
