I was photographing the Painted Hills to the east of the Painted Hills Overlook, but the sun set and thegolden light had faded. I then did a 180 degree turn and saw the moodiness of the landscape albeit less colorful. I particularly liked the cumulus cloud that added to the effect.
this was photographed with a Nikon D7100, Nikkor Zoom lens (18-200mm.), and a Hoya Circlar Polarizer all attached to a Gitzo Tripod and Arca-Swiss Head.
