Late in the day clouds began to swirl and form up in mass coming off the mountains and over Mono Lake. Then as the sun began to set a intense red glow outlined the dark cloud formations. Getting the camera as low as possible to the water was a priority to capture the blur of the tidal pull which had built up a large section of white foam.
