I was scouting the exterior of a nearby derelict farmhouse because I thought the front porch might be a cool spot for a creative portrait. While there, I stepped inside and discovered this poignant scene--an abandoned child's bedroom. The beautiful ambient window light cast a perfect spotlight on the door of the wardrobe, and of course, Bozo the Clown. What happened to the family that lived here, and especially the little child that must have loved this furniture? Is he still farming or did he move to the city? Does he have children of his own? Does he still remember Bozo fondly, or is he frightened of clowns?
Canon 5d Mark III, Canon 16-36 2.8L lens at 29 mm, iso 100, f 3.5, 1/25 second. Handheld (my tripod was home that morning).
