I was really intrigued by the mirrored mountain reflection in the lake during the day. So the goal was to create some sort of mirrored silhouette just after the sun set behind the mountains (by metering off of the bright sky to keep the rich colors). I was also hoping to get some of the flying bats in the picture too so I kept the shutter speed higher than I wanted too; however no such luck on that end. Most of this was accomplished in camera with just a bit of contrast added in post to deepen the blacks in the mountains and darken the sky.
Shot with a Canon 7D, 18-135, ISO 100, 1/500, F3.5, -2/3 EV.
