The Millstone River is one of the small but important and historic rivers in New Jersey, with a variety of scenic vantage points. While not a great waterfall, this spot near the small village of Rocky Hill, just off the Delaware and Raritan Canal, has sufficient "falls" effect. Using a Nikon D5300 and a Sigma 18-250 mm lens, and a variable neutral density filter and a tripod, I made the exposure at ISO 100, 105 mm f/22 at 2 seconds. I have been influenced by john Constable, and the attention to detailed landscapes.
