Many Paris Metro station entrances feature plant-inspired, curvilinear Art Nouveau forms designed by Hector Guimard in 1900. This photo was taken at the Saint-Michel station with a Nikon D70 and a Tamron 28-200 mm lens at 150 mm. The exposure was f/7.1 and 1/50 sec. Nik and Topaz plug-ins were used to give the image a bright “painterly” or lithographic appearance.
