Hiking in the dark with a flashlight before sunrise, I was able to find my way to this dune pattern I had located the day prior. I set up with my tripod mounted camera and waited for the side light to bring out the textural patterns for this composition.
Nikon D810, Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 lens at 15mm focal length, ISO 64, f11, 1/40 second exposure.
