Mabry Mill, along the Blue Ridge Parkway in southern Virginia, has generated numerous reflections in its mill pond since it was constructed in 1903. The early morning light accentuates the complementary colors of the green trees and grass with the red and pink rhododendrons. The bright reflected sky in the pond leads the viewer’s eye between the two trees to the subject of the grist mill and its reflection.
