While taking a motorcycle tour of the entire Blue Ridge Parkway this past summer, I came across the iconic Mabry Mill in Virginia on a nice, low-contrast cloudy day. I had never been that far north on the Parkway before, but had always wanted to visit this old grist mill...and I did.

I shot this with a Canon EOS 6D at f:5, 1/50 sec., ISO 100, with a 24-105 Canon lens, set at 24mm.
