I was walking along the shoreline at the Ralph Bunche beach when I saw a big heron fly overhead and turn 180 degrees and dive toward the shoreline in a shallow pass. I was lucky to be ready with Nikon D7000 fitted with zoom Nikon lens set at 105 mm, ISO 200, 1/640 and f 6.3. A beautiful example of this large lovely bird!
