I captured this scene at the Denver Zoo during the opening weekend of their annual Zoo Lights presentation on the evening of December 6th. Normally this time of year it is much colder, but this year the weather was mild and dry. The Moon was out and I thought this would make a great backdrop and add a bit of interest. The only thing missing from this "Wonderland" was the snow! I shot this using a Nikon D610 with a Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8 lens, mounted on a tripod, with a 6 second exposure time at F-6.3 and ISO 250.
