These longhorns were in a fenced pasture on Highway 44 between Deland and New Smyrna Beach, Florida. I travel this road frequently and I have kept looking for these longhorns for the past 7 years but they have yet to make a reappearance. Florida has been cattle country since the Spanish arrived in 1565 and has its own breed of Cracker Cattle. Shot with a Canon 5D and a Canon 70-300mm zoom lens at 300mm. Exposure was f/5.6 at 1/200 second @ ISO 400. Shot as a color RAW file ad converted to B&W and edited in Adobe Photoshop.
