A worker watches as a coal loader fills a barge on Chicago's Calumet River.

Taken with a Nikon D90 and the Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G lens at 70mm. ISO was 640, aperture was ƒ/7.1, and shutter speed was 1/4000. The image was desaturated in iPhoto and the exposure was tweaked in GraphicConverter.
