This image was taken at the African Lion Safari located outside of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The lion was sitting atop a large rock. The image was shot from the car since you are not allowed to get out of the car nor are you allowed to open the car window. The image is severely cropped to present it as a portrait. The camera was a Nikon D800 with a Sigma 150-500 lens. The ISO was 1250, Aperture was f/6.3 and shutter speed was 1/1600 second.
