I was at the beach on a little gem between the tip of Florida and the beginning of the Keys. I decided to take a walk and headed for the big patch of blackish grey water off in the distance. It was about 1/2 a mile walk and not a person in sight upon my arrival. The water was just about a foot shallow for what seemed an eternity and ground was lined with brownish sea grass. I decided, as any curious photographer, to walk out into it and explore. Apart from stepping on a viciously painful black sea urchin which left spikes in my feet for 2 weeks, I found huge orange sea stars and living conchs scattered like the speckles of sand in the grass. I lined some on my legs and took a shot as a memento and safely put them back in their home.
