An illuminated instrument panel in the Georgetown Steam Plant. The facility was built in 1907 to generate electricity for Seattle using steam powered turbines. It helped establish the steam turbine as capable of producing large amounts of power more cheaply than other generators of the time. The plant continued to operate, on a very limited basis until the 1970s. The boilers, steam turbines and much of the equipment remain in situ. Shot with the Nikon D750 and Nikkor 28-80 F/3.3-5.6G.
