I was hiking back down the Rhododendron Trail at Grayson Highlands State Park about a half a mile from the car I turned the corner. I was greeted by the beautiful blue ridge mountains with the sun setting, it had just started to break beneath the clouds. Before turning the corner it was just a cloudy overcast. These moments are why I like hiking, I love coming across that "Oh Wow" moment that just makes you stop and take it in.
