I had been wanting to revisit this mine, tucked away and not even on the maps. The calcium deposits at the very end of the tunnel trickle down its walls and floor like solid milk, also making for nice reflections in the small puddles. Nevermind all the flies, spiders, other strange bugs, and several bats en route! This is a long-exposure shot with light-painting done by me with a handheld flashlight. Otherwise, it is pitch-dark this far inside. Gear: Nikon D810 and Nikkor 14-24mm, f/8, 15mm, ISO 64, 13 seconds. By Theresa Rose Ditson.
