I was standing at the Morton Overlook along Newfound Gap Road in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Cloud cover made its way over the valley at sunset, which help provide some great color as the sun started to set. As the cloud cover blocked the sun it shot bright light streaks on the top part of the cloud cover and filled the lower part with beautiful golden color.
