I was driving over Boulder Mountain in Utah in late October and really didn't expect to see anything but barren aspen stands, but there was one stand that had a few leaves left. Of course I had to pull over and photograph them! Gear: Canon 5D MkIII, 24-105mm lens; settings: f8, 1/320 sec, ISO 500.
