We have a saying in Nevada (well at least in northern Nevada), "if you don't like the weather just wait ten minutes." In this case, we are halfway through May and it's snowing; which is good for us since we need the water. And at 7,000 feet above sea level, anything can happen. In this picture Lake Tahoe is in the background with low lying storm clouds hugging the mountains. This photo in monochrome complimented the darkened overcast sky.
This picture was taken with a Nikon D800(E), using a Nikon (AF-S) 24-70MM 1:2.8G (ED) N lens. ISO 100 / 44mm / f16 @ 1/60sec.
