Lake Ogawara, one of my favorite spots to shoot at in Misawa, Japan. A lot of people drive by this lake daily not noticing the true beauty of this area. When the weather is perfect this location can be a photographer's paradise. On this specific day, the weather was far from perfect. It was windy, and smoke in the air from the farmers burning their fields. Just as the sun set over the Hakkoda mountains, the sky cleared up enough to let some sunshine through letting me photograph just what I wanted.
The gear used for this image was a Canon 6D with a Tamron 24-70 2.8 at 24mm f16 2.5 seconds and ISO400.
