A few years back,I was driving around rural Vermont visiting places where for many years I had vacationed with with my parents. One late afternoon I was sitting in the parking lot of an abandoned strip mall and this fox passed by my car no more than 15 feet away. I grabbed my camera and got two or three shots before he was out of sight. I used a Nikon D90, 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6, shooting aperture preferred 1/125 sec. at f/8.0. In lightroom, I leveled the horizon, cropped a little, did a bit of spot removal, adjusted the exposure level, and sharpened a tad.
