I just happened to peek outside of my bedroom window one afternoon when I saw this red bird standing on the ground at the base of a tree. I ran to grab my camera, then returned to the window only to find the bird sitting on a tree branch. I began shooting a series of about 12 or so photos of the bird with this one being the best of the bunch.
