While traveling on business I spent the night in a hotel on the Columbia River. During the evening I tried to get a good shot of this bridge but the wind made the water too choppy and the sky was heavily cloudy. Early the next morning I peered through the drapes and saw this scene. I grabbed my camera and tripod and almost went out on the balcony before I remembered that I wasn't dressed. Knowing most folks wouldn't appreciate a naked photographer I quickly threw on my jeans. This photo turned out so good it might have been worth it, though, despite it being January in the Pacific Northwest!
