This image was taken at a photography workshop that featured rescued birds of prey. I felt very fortunate to have this rare opportunity to photograph a bald eagle in a studio setting, and with this image I was drawn to the majestic and proud looking pose, along with the black background which creates a sense of formality.

The original RAW file for this image was first processed using DxO Prime noise removal. The image was then processed further using Adobe Camera RAW for basic adjustments, followed with further detail extraction and light/color adjustments using the NIK plug-ins and Photoshop. No touch ups were added to the file (ex spot healing, clone stamping, etc.); however, the final file was slightly tilted and then minimally cropped to improve the composition.
