I used a Manfrotto Tripod and set up about ten feet away from the feeder. I shot this with a Nikon D7100 and a Nikkor AF-S VR Zoom 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED lens at ISO 640 at 300mm with a 35mm focal length of 600mm. F-stop was 5.6 and shutter 1/4000. I was pleased that the hummingbird happened to approach the feeder from my angle so I could get him from the back.Software used to edit was Aperture 2.
