The Durango & Silverton Railroad has a Fall Photographer's Special each year. The train stops at scenic locations, photographers de-train, the train backs up and then comes steaming by for photo shots. It is an all day event but they do a great job with food and beverages and you see some beautiful landscapes. This image was shot with a Nikon D600 and a Nikon 28-300mm lens at 170mm, f/6.3, 1/125 sec. and ISO 800.
