This was a dress rehearsal of the Gallery Theater Ballet & Tap school's performance of the Nutcracker. It dawned on my how much it all reminded me of the paintings of Edgar Degas. So, I set out to emulate some of the images to recreate that painted look using some plug-in filters from TopazLabs.

This was shot with a Sony a6000 camera with a zoom. The setting was f4 at 1/60 with ISO 1600
