This picture was taken at Blackwater Wildlife Refuge in Maryland. The heron and pelican had a difference of opinion. The heron flew away and the pelican scarfed up a nearby fish. My subjects were quite a way from where I was so I used my Canon EOS 5D with a Canon 2X Tele Extender coupled to a Canon 100-400 mm lens. Exposure info: ISO 200, 1/320 s, f/13.0, hand held leaning on my truck at 640 mm.
