While I was fishing on a central Minnesota lake these two loons approached my boat. They faced each other and began a slow intimate dance repeating a circular pattern several times. The dance lasted a couple of minutes and they remained near the boat for a few minutes afterward.

I often take my camera in the boat. It provides another activity when fishing is slow.
