I, Heather Marcum, shot this manually with a Nikon D3200. My settings were 1/1600, F 6.3, exposure at 400 using a 40mm Nikon lens with a +10 Hoya macro filter. I held a mirror behind this dandelion for backlight. I edited the photo using an app called Aviary removing all saturation and added vignette in white. I felt that the monochrome look to it would bring out a dreamlike quality to convey that it is possible to 'grow' wishes aplenty.
