Fortunately this building in Venice is not this gritty or dirty. The original B&W and color attempts were "pretty", but said nothing. I've seen the really dirty building in Europe and decided to "dirtyfy" this one. Nik Silver Effects Pro does the trick. I knew what I wanted in the photo and got it. Color couldn't do this.

My D-700, 80-200Nikkor zoom, and CS-2 were used in making the photo. The exposure was 1/500@F/11.
