This image was captured in the Sol Duc Valley of Olympic National Park in Washington State. Hiking through the forest I was struck by the color and wanted to let the trees themselves be almost an abstract behind the amazing greens of the leaves.

It was shot with a Canon 50D camera and a Canon EF100-400mm 4.5-5.6L IS USM. Settings were 100mm, ISO200, and f/16 for 15 seconds to bring out the color.
