Venice Florida has some nice spots on the beach for photography. The only thing really challenging is going to same place over and over again and not burning out. I spotted this solar halo situation about 2 miles from the beach and higher in the sky about an hour from sunset. When I finally made it to the beach, I was pleasantly surprised that the south wind with copious amounts of humidity in the air coated the beach grass for the SHINE!!! What a framing opportunity.
