This view of the Snake River is not only popular and appreciated by many tourists and photographers but is one of Ansel Adams most popular photos which was captured 72 years ago when the trees did not obstruct part of the river. Still a stunning sight.
I returned to this location several times throughout my week stay in the area. I knew I was finished shooting after capturing this image. It all came together for me right after this sunset while the beautiful rays of light burst above the Tetons and clouds.
