On the same day that I photographed the sunrise from this spot at the Grand Canyon, I decided to return for the sunset before heading back home. In the evening light, the red-orange rocks on the right became almost ablaze with color, while the river below again donned a rosy glow. In just a few minutes, the entire canyon would fill with shadow.
