The crowds gather as the weekly gunfights take place at Goldfield Ghost Town just outside of Apache Junction, AZ. A stream of fire can be seen belching from the barrel of Bart's 44 as another bad guy hits the dust.

This photo was created using Adobe's Lightroom 5.7. To make my character stand out against the busy background, I used the Adjustment Brush to select the crowd so I could gray them out making them less visible. Then I used the Adjustment Brush again to select my primary character and highlight him. Finally I pushed the Exposure slider down to reduce the background.

My camera is the Samsung NX500, ISO-200, F-stop-f/14, Focal Length-50mm, Exposure time-1/250 and shooting in Aperture Priority.
