It was a windy day so I decided to capture this Golden Silk Spider and photograph her on a sheet of white acrylic, using a small paint brush to keep her from running off. After I photographed her I returned her to her web and she acted as if nothing had happened. Nikon D300S, Micro Nikkor 105mm, Nissin MF-18 flash, Nikon SB-900 Speedlight, f/14, 1/250 sec, and ISO-100.
