Driving up to Roan Mountain there are a few overlooks. I was set up shooting a sunset at the last overlook. One of the things I always look for is that long lens shot, usually I am looking for layers. I love photographing layers and around here we have mountains that go on forever. I love how they fade away and how the color changes. After I got my wide angle shot I switched over to grab this shot with the golden light.
